A journey through Italy’s most authentic wines and landscapes, an experience to savor slowly.
An itinerary dedicated to the discovery of the lands of wine and Slow Food. Ten unforgettable days immersed in the vineyards and rolling hills of Piedmont and Tuscany: Langhe, Roero, Monferrato, Val d’Orcia and Chianti. A journey among villages, castles, and flavors that celebrate two of the most beautiful wine regions in Italy.

Itinerary:
Day 1 – Arrival in the Langhe
Meet your guide upon arrival at Malpensa or Turin airport and transfer to an agriturismo or resort in the Langhe. Welcome drink, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 2 – Langhe, Roero and Monferrato
Morning visit to Bra, capital of taste and cradle of the Slow Food movement, with a tasting of local cheeses. Continue to Pollenzo to visit the University of Gastronomic Sciences, followed by lunch with regional specialties. In the afternoon, travel through the Barolo hills and visit a castle winery for a tasting of the region’s most precious wines. Dinner in a local restaurant and overnight stay.
Day 3 – Alba, Barbaresco and Grinzane Cavour
After breakfast, explore Alba, city of truffles, with its medieval streets and towers. Proceed to Barbaresco, a charming medieval village where you’ll enjoy lunch and a wine tasting. In the afternoon, visit the castle of Grinzane Cavour and the Regional Enoteca of Piedmont. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 – Monferrato and the “Infernot”
Morning visit to Canelli and its UNESCO-listed underground cathedrals — spectacular historical wine cellars carved into tuff rock. Continue to Nizza Monferrato for a walking food tour and local tastings. Visit the characteristic “infernot,” small chambers dug by hand into the local sandstone, and enjoy wine and food tastings before returning to the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 5 – From the Langhe to Chianti
Travel day through three regions rich in natural beauty and culinary tradition. Stop in Florence for lunch and a stroll through its Renaissance treasures before continuing along the scenic “Chiantigiana Road” to Siena. Check in at the resort, welcome drink, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 6 – The Chianti Valley
A full day exploring the enchanting roads of Chianti, with visits and tastings at historic wineries. Lunch at a local estate and traditional Tuscan dinner featuring the famous Florentine steak. Overnight stay.
Day 7 – San Gimignano and Rocca delle Macìe
Morning departure to discover San Gimignano, the “City of Towers.” Free time for shopping and photos, followed by lunch and tasting at the renowned Rocca delle Macìe winery. Return to the resort, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 8 – Siena and Tuscan Cuisine
Cooking class at the resort dedicated to Tuscan gastronomy and the wines of Chianti and Brunello. Lunch with the dishes prepared during the class. In the afternoon, guided tour of Siena, including Piazza del Campo. Dinner in a local restaurant and overnight stay.
Day 9 – Montalcino, Val d’Orcia and Brunello
Excursion to the UNESCO World Heritage landscapes of Val d’Orcia, with visits to Montalcino and Pienza. Lunch and tastings in a farmhouse or winery. Farewell dinner and overnight stay at the resort.
Day 10 – From Siena to Rome via Orvieto
After breakfast, depart for Rome with a stop in Orvieto to visit the magnificent cathedral and enjoy free time for lunch. Arrival in Rome, check-in at the hotel, and overnight stay.
Day 11 – Rome
Guided panoramic tour of the Eternal City, discovering its most iconic landmarks. Afternoon free, with optional visits to the Vatican Museums, the Colosseum, or the historic center. Overnight stay.
Day 12 – Departure
Transfer to Rome Fiumicino Airport at the appropriate time for departure.
