Period: All year round, for individuals and small groups.
Sicily, the pearl of the Mediterranean, enchants visitors with its rich history and breathtaking landscapes. Let’s discover it together!
Day 1 – Palermo
Arrival at Palermo airport, meeting with the tour guide, transfer and check-in at the hotel. Depending on the arrival time, an afternoon stroll through the historic centre of Palermo, with its alleys, the famous Vucciria Market, and the opportunity to dine in one of the many local restaurants or taste some of the city’s traditional street food. Overnight stay in Palermo.
Day 2 – Palermo
Guided visit to the Ballarò Market, the most beloved and lively market among Palermo’s locals. As we walk through its colourful stalls, we’ll be charmed by the scents, sounds, and the traditional “abbanniare” — the melodic, Middle Eastern–sounding calls of vendors advertising the quality and prices of their goods. Free evening, or option to join a Sicilian cooking class. Overnight stay in Palermo.
Day 3 – Palermo – Marsala
Today we’ll follow the Sicilian coastline to Marsala, located on the island’s westernmost tip. With its stunning turquoise sea, Marsala is famous for its namesake wine, Garibaldi’s landing, and the Stagnone Lagoon, where salt pans create one of Sicily’s most evocative landscapes.
We’ll visit a historic winery, explore its cellars, and taste local wines paired with regional delicacies. In the afternoon, we’ll explore the coast and end the day with an aperitif at sunset among the enchanting salt flats. Return to the hotel.
Day 4 – Palermo – Milazzo
Departure towards Milazzo. A day dedicated to discovering Sicily’s northern coast, starting from Cefalù, a seaside town of rare beauty. We’ll continue along the coast to Tindari, a charming seaside village, where we’ll visit an old winery and enjoy a lunch featuring local products. In the afternoon, arrival in Milazzo and hotel check-in. Overnight stay.
Day 5 – The Aeolian Islands
Enchanting places surrounded by a crystal-clear sea, the Aeolian Islands are characterized by wild nature and two ever-active volcanoes, Stromboli and Vulcano. Known as the “seven pearls of the Mediterranean” — Lipari, Salina, Vulcano, Stromboli with Strombolicchio, Filicudi, Alicudi and Panarea with its islets Basiluzzo, Dattilo and Lisca Bianca — these islands captivate visitors with their unique beauty.
Breakfast at the hotel and departure from the port of Milazzo at 10:00 a.m. for a day trip to the Aeolian Islands, including a stop in Lipari for lunch (not included). Return to Milazzo at 6:00 p.m. and continuation to Catania. Arrival around 7:30 p.m. and hotel check-in.
Day 6 – Catania and Taormina
Today we’ll visit Taormina, one of Italy’s most beautiful villages. Perched on a natural terrace overlooking the Ionian Sea and facing Mount Etna, Europe’s largest volcano, Taormina’s medieval charm, Greek heritage, and Mediterranean colours make it one of the world’s most beautiful destinations.
We’ll explore the ancient Greek Theatre (3rd century BC), symbol of the city, nestled among cypresses and prickly pears, offering a breathtaking view of the sea, the Calabrian coast, Syracuse, and Mount Etna’s smoking summit. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 7 – Mount Etna
Today we’ll visit Mount Etna, Europe’s highest active volcano. By coach, we’ll reach 1,900 meters at Rifugio Sapienza, where a cable car takes us up to 2,500 meters, with the option to continue by minibus up to 2,900 meters — as close as possible to the summit (3,340 m). From here, the view is absolutely unique.
Known as “the Mother” by Sicilians, Etna’s volcanic soil and the sea create a perfect microclimate for the production of exceptional wines, cheeses, vegetables, and honey, which we’ll taste during lunch at an old farmhouse. Return to the hotel.
